Dad and Daughter Weekend was established in 1956. The two day celebration allowed fathers to join their daughters on campus for fun and games. A typical Dad and Daughter weekend of activities included a swim show, choir performance, faculty tea, lecture, gymkhana, sports events, banquet and Dad and Daughter dance. The celebration ended with a Sunday chapel service and brunch.
